Our History
The Western Event Venue is an iconic equestrian facility since 1974 that hosts the annual CCPRA Coarsegold Rodeo. Set on 38 acres of beautiful countryside, our grounds serve as an excellent location for weddings, RV camping, horse boarding, concerts, business retreats, and various other events. We aim to offer the community a safe and enjoyable venue while preserving the Western way of life.

The heart of Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds is our championship-caliber main arena, where Western heritage comes alive in spectacular fashion. Since 1974, this hallowed ground has hosted the prestigious CCPRA Coarsegold Rodeo, now approaching its 73rd annual celebration.
